Are We Connecting? Strategies for Online Student Success

Session Description
Four different areas will be detailed by the presenters regarding ways to form enhanced connections between online students, faculty, and support services to facilitate student success. Included are scaffolding methods, language choices in written and verbal communication, using multimedia feedback in addition to written comments on assignments, and utilizing social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest, to provide additional platforms for student engagement.
