Using Jing to Organize Data Collection for the Dissertation Process

Session Description
The dissertation journey is one that requires a great deal of time and dedication to complete. One of the steps in this process for learners attending the University of Phoenix, Online in the School of Advanced Studies is the compiling of research data collected and then reporting on the findings in chapter four of their dissertation. Shared will be how the use of Jing assists an individual to accomplish these tasks in a meaningful manner. Jing, a free application, allows sharing of text, images, and short videos. This session will provide an overview as to how Jing can be used for data organization in relationship to writing chapter four of the dissertation and how it can also be used for the final dissertation oral defense presentation. Shared will be best practices for organization of data highlighting tips and tools that make analyzing the information gathered a meaningful, doable process.
