The Interactive Classroom… Using Edtech to Deconstruct the Traditional Lecture

Session Description
Students are bringing their smart phones and mobile devices to class everyday, let’s maximize the capacity of using these tools in our teaching and learning environments and expand learning beyond the traditional content delivery formats.

This session is intended for educators who are interested in enhancing student engagement and measuring lesson effectiveness through integrating free/user-friendly edtech tools in the classroom. These creative tools will help you engage students through real time collaboration, anonymity options, and mobile app accessibility that accommodate all students. You will leave this session equipped with tools, sample templates and a series of practical ideas on integrating technology in your day-to-day classes.

    Wow, this was such a dynamic and informative presentation. Dina shows such generosity in sharing her resources with us! I have a hard time imagining how many hours its taken to amass the quantity and quality of these different online tools. Great ideas too! Iʻm glad I attended this presentation and look forward to keeping up with what Dina is doing.
