Effectiveness of Game-based Student Response System Tests vs. Paper-based Tests in Spanish L2 Learner Performance: A Pilot Study

Session Description
This study investigated the effects of method of delivery, Game-based Student Response System Tests delivered on mobile devices vs. Paper-based Tests, on Spanish language learner performance. Furthermore it examined the participants’ perceptions of the method of delivery. No significant difference in performance was found between the two groups, however the Game-based System Response Group had much more positive perceptions of the method of delivery across the board.
