Session Description
This session will provide an exploration of five basic elements of cooperative team building as reflected in the time-honored collaborative practices ingrained in Hawaiian Culture. Since no ecology for cross-institutional collaboration currently exists, we propose to develop an engaging, culturally sensitive, technology-mediated ecosystem building upon Dron and Anderson’s ideas of the collective and “stygmergy”.
