Session Description
Why do students shy away from challenges or fear failure? Many believe they aren’t smart or talented, but intelligence isn’t the key predictor of success. It is the mindset behind students’ actions that either leads them down the road of success or down one quitting school. Coaching students in an online environment presents a unique set of challenges but it also provides opportunities. Pre-enrollment coaching enhanced through online learning apps can set a solid foundation for students to learn about and embrace a mindset that fosters growth and learning. These tools can encourage students to see failures as opportunities for future growth and to persevere through obstacles that occur throughout the learning process. Ultimately, these technologies assist the student in succeeding, not only in the classroom but in all areas of life. Attend this interactive session to learn how to help students look at failure as a stepping stone to success!
